Fire Extinguishers

A firehose hooked on a wall and fire extinguisher

Fire Extinguishers are only valuable if they are used properly. The Lake Oswego Fire Department provides a free fire extinguisher training program for businesses and groups inside the fire district.

The program consists of two parts: 1) a short film and discussion on the types of fire extinguishers and 2) a demonstration fire set outside where participants get hands-on experience putting out a small fire. The fire department provides all equipment and training is about 1 hour in length.
